THE OZONE PROJECT

We prepared the business plan and concepts for the existing water park attraction previously known as ‘Splash Canyon’ in Springwater, just outside Barrie.  The existing facility will be enhanced and redeveloped into a world class resort known as Ozone.  This recreation based attraction will build upon the existing infrastructure and the natural gifts of the surrounding area with a number of new modern amenities and uses.    

At the heart of the project will be a state-of-the-art tourist attraction that distinguishes the development from any of its kind in Ontario and designed to be educational and fun at the same time.

The waterpark will be showcased in open year-round enclosed and temperature constant biodomes that are themed to replicate our majestic Boreal Forest, the grand Amazon Rainforest and the mysterious Mediterranean Woodlands, as well as other unique destinations. By extension, the attraction, through these exhibits introduces its visitors to the wonders, vitality and essence of the world’s plants and trees, in a family and incredibly fun environment.

The world’s environment is an extricable part of who we are and from where we came and this is what Ozone is designed to explain in an interactive, educational, yet very entertaining setting.
