TENARIS OFFICE BUILDING

This building was designed by caruso-torricella-architetti, of Milan, Italy. Our firm assisted them by re-creating the construction drawings for their design, by transforming their concept and making it compatible with the Canadian climate and to suit our local building codes, etc.

Facing a steel mill with a massive industrial façade the building is covered completely in white metal panels.  The office complex is composed of three volumes connected by tunnel passageways, including a new prism-shaped volume made entirely of glass, housing the offices and  related facilities and services.  A new technical building, made entirely of concrete housing technical plants and a renovated building made of concrete housing the training and engineering archives makes up the remaining portions of the project.
