RICHARD’S LANDING MARINA

Designed by Mr. Ellis to reflect both the nautical and the natural environment on which the building stands, the building was constructed to house a restaurant, administration offices and sailor’s facilities for the marina. The building serves as the facilities headquarters for the Richard’s Landing Marina.

The wood entrance canopy and the structure inside uses stained wood, steel shear plates and cabling and visually counters the steel and stone exterior. Unfortunately, the matching wood trellis, proposed over the outdoor dining area was not constructed, which would have provided sun shading to both patrons on the patio and restaurant inside.
