MARCONI CLUB ADDITION

We were asked to imagine a proposed update and addition to the existing Marconi Club, in Sault Ste. Marie.

The concept is to renovate the interior of the existing building, but also add some new features, including a new lounge, outdoor dining or celebration space, etc.

We proposed to use a copper coloured metal panel exterior cladding system, lots of windows and a skylight to bring natural light, into what is now a rather dark interior. We also enlarged and improved accessibility at the parking lot entrance, as currently it is small and rather unwelcoming.
