SHARP Student Residences

The Student Housing and Recruitment Project (SHARP) is a non-profit organization that will offer quality rental apartments to medical students enrolled in the Northern Ontario Medical School and medical/surgical residents. As an example of adaptive re-use, we plan to re-develop a vacant portion in the same building that houses the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre to create a residence facility that will accommodate 22 students in a comfortable living and learning environment.

The design builds on the application of a fun palette of colours and geometric shapes, within the older loft-type building.
