The Interpretation Centre provides insight into the British Garrison located on St. Joseph, on Lake Huron, from which the first Canadian victory of the War of 1812-1814 was celebrated.
The firm provided the original design and several subsequent modifications to respond to changing programme needs. The building is a series of small distinct pavilions, the main possessing a translucent roof, that admits a soft light to the interior. The building melds with the landscape as not to conflict with the historic nature of the site.
