Group Health Centre

The Group Health Centre (GHC) has grown several-fold and has required several additions, satellite clinics and renovations over the years to accommodate changes in programme and expansion. The GHC is Canada’s largest and well known private health clinics. Creative phasing and scheduling has been required to ensure the least disruption to the facility and its operation.
David ELLIS has designed, added to and completely renewed the centre over almost 30 years. Projects include three satellite clinics, a separate Women’s Health Centre, as well as other occupancies including: anaesthesiology, surgery, internal medicine, dentistry, counseling, diagnostic imaging, physiotherapy, cardiac unit, csr, vision and eye care, laboratories, administration and board rooms.
Recent projects have included the building for the Group Health Centre and the Sault Ste.Marie Innovation Centre and the firm most recently completed contract documents for a new functional link between the two towers.
