The provision of student housing is paramount to the success of any college or university, providing a home away from home.
This 160 bed facility has many attributes that make it unique. Important to the programming was to provide a pleasant and inviting environment in which to live and study, but with the ability to withstand the rigours of occupants away from their homes for the first time.
To further enhance student life, the building has been broken down internally to smaller ‘houses’ with their own study lounges and kitchens. As well, all rooms have private or semi-private washrooms, arranged in either suites, paired.
